Summary: Developed a training program for Program Coordinators for the 'Fall Provincial Meet-up'. Work included:
- Analyzing topics identified by Program Coordinators and the Provincial Project Office, and topics discovered as a result of additional field research
- Identified and analyzed existing relevant training sessions, and training providers
- Based on existing training, developed– together with the training providers - training sessions, including training material, to be used during the provincial meeting, and during other separate training occasions (including webinars)

E-learning Course Development - SteadyFeet Program
Focus: Instructor Training Course for Falls Prevention
Summary: Completed an e-learning course development project for the Falls Prevention Team at the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. The course is a specialized balance and mobility instructor training program designed to teach community instructors and healthcare staff the skills to increase mobility and reduce fall risk in frail older adults. The project included:
- Content expertise and development
- Writing and instructional design
- Storyboards and course authoring (using a Moodle platform)
- Videography, production, editing, and voiceovers
- Four units of learning material, quizzes, assignments, instructional videos, visuals, and a discussion board
- Development and delivery of a two-day workshop with an instructor
- Facilitation for course delivery

An e-newsletter training series - designed for the Seniors Falls and Injury Prevention Unit
Focus: E-newsletter Training Series for Falls Prevention
Summary: Completed a project for the Seniors Falls and Injury Prevention Unit at the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. Cardea Health Consulting was contracted to produce a series of 16 biweekly e-mail newsletters titled “Fall Prevention through Physical Activity” for use by healthcare staff working with frail older adults.
