Accessibility Statement
Inclusion is the spine of our work, not a footnote. That has to start with our own website.

Our commitment
Cardea Health Consulting helps communities and organizations design for everyone, including the people most plans miss. We hold ourselves to the same standard. We are committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat that as a floor rather than a finish line. Our work in British Columbia is also guided by the Accessible British Columbia Act and the principles behind it.
What we do
- Use a highly legible typeface and strong colour contrast.
- Structure pages with clear headings and a “skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Design for keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
- Build layouts that adapt to mobile, zoom, and larger text.
Another format?
If you need any of our information in a different format — large print, plain language, a phone conversation instead of a form, or anything else — tell us what works for you and we will make it work. There is no wrong way to ask.
Tell us how we can do better
We know accessibility is ongoing, and we welcome being told where we fall short. If you run into a barrier on this site, or have a suggestion, please email info@cardeahealthconsulting.com. Let us know the page and what happened, and we will respond and work to fix it.
We treat accessibility feedback as a priority and aim to respond within two business days.
